THE recent print competition produced some interesting results.
Me Watching You, Watching Me by new member Brian Beverley was an amusing and delightful study of a grey squirrel on a post. The squirrel was pin sharp and enhanced by the slightly out of focus background.
Winter Hardship by Sylvia Weller was an unusual shot of the head and shoulders of a bison searching in the snow for food. The cold effect was enhanced by the bison's coat being covered in snow.
Boot Sale by Eddie Harris was an amusing and colourful shot of a single trainer in a shop window. Although an unusual "grab shot", it did not find favour with the judge.
Open Space by David Wood showed a stretch of beach stretching to the horizon. In the corner of the foreground were a couple walking hand in hand, the girl carrying a pair of shoes and the man a bottle of wine.
A very surrealist effect.
