ARCHITECT and town planner Denis Ashbourne gave an extensive over-view of life in Georgian London in a well-illustrated talk.
The talk took place in the Great Hall of the Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, on October 10.
The next meeting will take place in the Public Hall, Bromley Road, Beckenham, at 2.15pm on November 8.
At the meeting, Monty Parkin, a local historian, will give a talk entitled Yesterday's Newspapers.
While researching newspapers from the past, Mr Parkin found some bizarre and amusing stories and advertisements.
