THIS month's meeting saw the welcome return of Sue Henning, who on this visit gave a most interesting illustrated talk about Zimbabwe.
She has made four visits there since 1993 and showed some wonderful slides, which featured Victoria Falls, the Kariba Dam, a canoeing trip down the Zambesi and the fantastic scenery and wildlife.
The guild is running the bottle stall at the Federation Market to be held at St Edmunds Church hall on November 17 and members have the opportunity to visit the Churchill Theatre on November 24 to see rock legend David Essex in Aspects of Love.
Guild details are available from the secretary on 020 8658 6617.
