Welling Evening Townswomen's Guild
AT THE last meeting, Paul Chambers from St John's Ambulance presented an informative talk about basic first aid.
Various guild members were invited to be casualties which led to much amusement.
Mr Chambers demonstrated the effectiveness of Clingfilm to cover burns. He said it had proved to be invaluable during the Falklands War.
A visit to either the Orchard at Dartford to see Snow White or the Bob Hope Theatre to see Beauty and the Beast is being arranged for January.
The next meeting of the guild is on December 7 at 7.30 pm at Welling Pop-in Parlour, Bellegrove Road, Welling, at the corner of Churchfield Road near Welling Library, when the Christmas Social will take place.
New members can be sure of a warm welcome. For details, call 0208 856 4994.
