Teacher Assistant Training Graduation
 |
| A graduate accepting her certificate |
Congratulations to all the Groundworks Teacher Assistant training pupils who yesterday (Thursday 13 March 2008) celebrated their passes with a graduation, held at Trust Thamesmead's Jubilee Community Centre in Lytton Strachey Path off Titmuss Avenue in Thamesmead.
All 12 pupils were directed to Groundworks by Trust Thamesmead's employment and training department, Building Futures, whose Work Placement Officer, Ingrid said: "It was very difficult for some students as they had to combine studying and work placement along with looking after their young families.
"The graduation was attended by lots of family members who looked on proudly as certificates were received."
Sarah from Groundworks presented the certificates and praised all the students for all their hard work and determination to complete the course and said they were now well on their way to achieving their ambitions.
It was a wonderful celebration of success and the occasion was enjoyed by all.
