THE May meeting had to be held on a Friday as the usual fourth Monday fell on a Bank Holiday, but it was still quite well attended.
The two resolutions decided upon were Ban on Bottom Beam Trawling and Inappropriate Imprisonment of Severely Mentally Ill.
Joy Weston and Kathleen Bhinda summarised these very clearly for us.
Great interest was shown and many questions were asked.
Our next meeting will be held as usual on the fourth Monday of the month at the District Scouts Headquarters in Mayplace Road West.
Meetings start sharply at 7.45pm and members try to be there at 7.30pm.
