RECENT letters have asked whether youth crime is caused by single parent families.
In a country where anything goes and "self" is more important than everything else, single parents are just one part of a bigger problem.
The breakdown of traditional family life is responsible for the poor behaviour of many children.
The liberal attitudes which have developed over successive governments during the past 20 to 30 years are ultimately to blame.
Married couples, it has been proved, provide the best environment for raising children.
Yobbish, criminal behaviour always comes back to a failure in the child's upbringing.
