WATER RISK : I recently bought a bunch of roses from the Co-op store in Chatterton Road, Bromley.
The following day all the heads were drooping and I took them back to the store.
They were not a reduced item but as I did not have the receipt I could not get a refund. Company policy, fair enough.
But a message came from the manager via a store assistant that the reason the roses drooped was because they were in too much water.
A more ludicrous reason I could not imagine. So folks - don't over water your flowers because they will droop.
