HOW I agree with Pauline Brown (Use of F Word Is Disgusting, Letters, April 30) regarding the highly offensive F word being used as an everyday swear word.
This is a symbol of the dumbing down and lowering of standards which seems apparent now. I watched 10 minutes of Gordon Ramsay before being simply unable to take his language and needed to switch off. He uses it as a gimmick but it is not funny, entertaining or necessary. How can we be surprised to hear this horrible word being used by young teenagers when they see on television. It is not only acceptable but actually encouraged by such so-called celebrities.
