AFTER working for the NHS and struggling with ill health, being a woman I was allowed to retire at 60.
I now find the Government continually excludes women pensioners aged between 60 and 64 of any extra help.
We do exist and are pensioners who have had our wages kept low as we were public sector workers, so we now have small state and NHS pensions to survive on.

At the age of 65, one is allowed to have more savings before it is taken off any benefits.
It is hard work applying for benefits and one is treated like a "thief", and I am sure it is a costly business processing all the claims.
I don't want handouts but justice and fairness, and I don't want my pension taxed into poverty so I have to apply for benefits because this Government thinks I should be able to live on a lower income at aged 60 compared with a person aged 65.
How can this Government reimburse me my
income tax, which has now more than doubled?
I cannot apply for any pension credits until I
reach 65.
