HAVE I missed some new law in the Highway Code?
I recently drove from Redhill in Surrey to Bromley, with a 4x4 driver pushing me all the way. Even on a 30mph limit, the driver wanted to go faster, at 50mph the driver pushed even harder to go 60mph.
Although it was a clear night the truck had its headlights and fog lights on, lighting up the inside of my car, to my discomfort.
Two days later, on a bright clear Sunday morning, a car with headlights and fog lamps on was trying to make me exceed the speed limit.
The woman driver had her sun visor down, sunglasses on and her arm out of the window.
I am wondering whether I have missed something in my Highway Code which gives these drivers special rights on the road, and the use of the headlamps and fog lamps in broad daylight is telling other drivers they are special class of driver.
