Charity Campaign
Langley Park Girls School had a PSHCE day a couple weeks ago.The Year 10 students were seperated into different groups based on what they would be learning throughout the day. Some of the groups included financial management british sign language and communication. One of the groups was Charity Campaign. The students who were in this group were asked to reseach a charity and create a presentation to show the rest of their class. A lot of the students picked the RSPCA and Cancer Research. A few of the students picked charities that focused on sending girls around the world to school and bringing them out of young marriages. The girls felt passionate about this and said 'it's so important to enjoy our childhood and appreciate our education as these girls don't have neither. Its also up to us to help them gain these.' One of the charities chosen was Girls Not Brides.
