On the 9th April, AirJump opened their first trampoline park near the Nugent centre in Orpington. With 14,000 square feet of trampolines, the park allows for a huge 60 jumpers an hour, all seven days of the week. The park caters for all ages, including a soft play area for children too young for the trampolines, and a café overlooking the trampolines.

With the first trampoline park, Bounce, opening in 2014, the trampolining craze has spread rapidly over the UK. By 2016 there were 96 open trampoline parks in the UK. Trampolining is becoming an increasingly popular method of exercise among adults and children alike as it is an easy and fun way to keep fit.

AirJump offers a range of unique trampolining activities. Jumpers can show off their gymnastics skills on the tumble track, or battle it out on the battle beams, or just bounce to their hearts’ content on the park’s 50 interconnected trampolines. The park also boasts one of the biggest trampoline half pipes in the UK and a giant air bag, perfect for trying out new moves or just having a laugh.

These unique activities are proving very popular. Jeff, aged 11, who has already visited AirJump said that ‘the trampoline park is great fun. My favourite part was the walk the wall and the air bag.’ If these trampoline parks remain popular we can expect to see many more open up in the future.
