Spring is the time when you see people walking around with their families and friends having picnics and having a good time playing with a football or even play some tennis as the weather is at the right temperature for you have a nice relaxed game. Something else that fascinates me about a British spring; is when there is that one day when the sun is out and there is a clear blue along with that it’s time for a BBQ even though it is only 4 degree outside.
I love that during the spring time is when you can go outside and enjoy a nice walk in the park or go cycling as a family without having feeling that you want to go home within the next 2 or 3 hours. It also makes you feel that you have done something during the day instead of just staying inside and procrastinating.
When asked most people say they love when the daffodils start to bloom; as it makes them feel a lot happier and ready for the day as it resembles spring being a time of relaxation and beauty when you have wonderful brightly coloured flowered everywhere.
A sure sign that spring has arrived is Mother’s Day. This year mother’s day also fell on the same day the clocks went forward. Sadly mum all around the world didn’t get that lovely extra hour. Mother’s day was a day they loved because it was all about how much their mum meant to them, as well as remembering all the things all things she has done for you through the years; by thanking and treating her to a day for herself.
Most people say what they love about the British spring time, is that they loved the idea of the Sun being out especially being able to go to the park. Meaning there are able to have a nice picnic while enjoying the wonderful Sun that only comes out 2-3 months out of the year.
Most of what I love about a British spring is how fresh the air feels and all the nature around us in the parks and the woods with new and old species of birds and rabbit hopping and whistling in the cool breeze. As well it being a time see lots of people walking around with their well-groomed dogs in the luxurious green soft grass, as it gives you time to look at all the different types of breeds of dogs playing with each other just relishing the sun.
