It's March. This means Easter holidays are coming up! Which also signifies exam season.

Every year, students face this terrifying time of the year, with courage and determination, and by the end of it, fatigue is the only thing left. Exams are compulsory, and every student in the country takes the same exams, at the same time. This exams will essentially be the basis of our future, and decide whether we will see failure in our fates or our destinies will be filled with prosperity. This all depends on a set of exams. Maybe, you've performed well all year, yet when it's time to sit the exams, your mind goes blank. Yet, unfortunately we have to admit that universities won't look at how you did on your unit tests in Year 9, they'll be solely focused on your public exams. Is this really fair?

Maybe it's time to change the system? We could follow America and their ways of education, with different ways to earn GPA. Or, we could do what some countries in Asia do. They sit five exams in Year 10 and then the others in Year 11, creating a balance, and helping to relieve stress off of the students'.

This time of the students' lives is a extremely stressful, without the pressure of exams pushing down upon them at every step of the way. Our education system may not be that great, however, perhaps these stress-provoking times will help us through struggles when we're older and make us stronger people.
