Hampton School defend Founders Day 7s in Pictures
Hampton won their annual 7s tournament on the 23rd February for the second time in a row, having previously won the trophy for the first time in 2016.
The squad were drawn in a testing group; alongside Campion School, St Pauls, St Joseph's’ College and John Fisher. Having beaten Campion 29-10 in their opening game, the side went on to record victory against John Fisher (31-5) and St Paul's (41-5). In their final group match the team played St Joseph's’, whom the prevailed 40-5 against, setting up a Cup final against Cranleigh.
In the final, Hampton managed to emulate the previous year's performance, emerging with a 19-10 in a thrilling game against Cranleigh School. In the plate competition it was Brighton College who were victorious, after defeating St Pauls 26-24 in a closely fought contest.
