Snow. After nearly 4 years of waiting for it, it has finally arrived. Ok, so 4 years is probably exaggerating (a bit) but at around 5 pm today (12th January 2017), after some intense rainfall, white snowflakes flew their way down onto London ground for the first time in what seems forever.

Although, weather forecasts have been predicting that we were going to experience some snow sometime around now for the past week, we never actually expected it to happen. I mean how many times have people told you it was going to snow and then it never does? See?. But I have to say, the snow has made a big return and it has only been 2 hours. You can physically pick it up and have a snowball fight! Now that is a big deal for the UK. Already, around 80 flights have been cancelled at Heathrow Airport and there has been warnings of more snow and ice for London and the south of England.

I know this very unexpected snow surprise has been great, for some, but the one important question on everyone’s mind is “Will it still be there tomorrow?

Stephanie Olujinmi-Raji (aged 15) said that snow is "beautiful and warm like the sun on earth but by tomorrow it will be dirt".

I can't lie, not going to school tomorrow would be the best thing. But what do you think: will the snow stay and save us from another day hell (also known as school) or will it slither away like it always seems to do?
