It has been another year and Christmas has once again come and gone.  Another year before children avidly await to open the gifts under the tree,  another year without any snow.  However, the New Year of 2017 is soon to be upon us.  Doesn’t this make you wonder?  Will you keep on going as you have through 2016?  Made any New Year’s resolutions yet?  What does 2017 mean to you?  Over the course of 2016 I’m sure many will agree that there has been many exciting events, however we cannot deny that many tragic events have taken place.  Should 2017 mean that some sort of change  should happen sometime soon?

Although I’m sure Father Christmas has deemed you all worthy to pay a visit down the chimney, be honest with yourselves, have you really all been good this year?  Of course, every person’s understanding of ‘good’ will differ however most of you will be able to differentiate between the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ actions you’ve made throughout the year.

If you take a step back and look at the world, you’ll find that there is never enough ‘good’ in the world.  There can always be more.  So is change what 2017 needs for there to be less unfortunate events happening, therefore making the world an ideal place to be?  No matter how small you deem you little actions to be, think about it.  Many little actions together make one big action.  Whether the actions you chose to do are good or bad, they will eventually make an impact. There may be hundreds around the world thinking the same as you.

Everyone has a choice.  You chose the path to follow, and although many will tell you to make the ‘right’ choice, it ultimately depends on you to decide what is ‘right’ and what is ‘wrong’.  So maybe think about what you do more in 2017?

Have a happy new year.
