Newstead Wood School did a fantastic fashion show called A Pinch of Spice. This was a culturally themed fashion show that also had a lot of talented acts such as dancing and singing.

This show consisted of original clothes made by the actual students of Newstead Wood School, showing off amazing lines with fashionable, colourful designs. There were amazing designs and handmade, the models showing them off well.

The singing was also amazingly done, and the dancing was just as amazing. The year 10’s and 11’s did this all independently, and showed off their skills in all the arts greatly.

Lots of people showed up, enjoying the event seeing their children or friends up on the stage, having a fantastic time, and raised tons of money to go all to charity. They did a fantastic job in this showcase.

There was also a guest star Paige’s Cakey who also did an astounding performance on the stage, everyone standing and dancing, entertained by this singer.

As well as Newstead Wood School putting up an excellent show, Wallington County Grammar School put on a brilliant talent show with some fashion in the intervals too.

They did so well in numbers, people ended up watching the show from the outside, down the hall. Some people were even turned away because of the large number, being more than 400.

Though the microphone wasn’t the best at all times, they did carry on, the singing was brilliant as well as the other performances done.  There was dancing, which was from street dance, to Bollywood dancing, who also got to end the show due to the technical difficulties but did an excellent performance.

There was a DIY section of the fashion show which included a police tape top and nude coloured underpants with a leaf on top. They also fitted in a hilarious school stereotypes fashion.

They failed to disappoint this show and I can’t wait to see the next one too.
