COMPETITION: Wow Factor modelling and beauty photo contest begins

TEN gorgeous young people will compete in the 2010 final of News Shopper’s Wow Factor modelling and beauty competition in exactly six months’ time.

But before we get to the excitement of the final on October 14 at The Glades shopping centre in Bromley, we have a message for all you hopefuls out there who think you have the “wow” factor: You’ve got to be in it to win it.

Today we are launching the contest, so now is the time to enter if you want to take part and be in with a chance of strutting your stuff on the stage.

Wow Factor is the competition to be in if you have what it takes to be named the best looking girl or most handsome bloke in south-east London and north Kent.

Now in its fourth year, the contest is open to anyone who is aged 16 to 26.

Everyone taking part gets a free photo shoot at Nigel Barrett Photography in Bexleyheath.

Photos of all the contestants will be put on to News Shopper’s website and the public will have the task of voting for their favourite.

The poll will choose 10 entrants to go through to the final.

After being sent on a modelling training day, our finalists will star in a fashion and beauty show in front of an audience at The Glades.

Two overall winners, chosen by a panel of judges, will be crowned Wow Factor champions for 2010.

They will win great prizes from Graham Webb International and Nigel Barrett Photography, and will also feature in a Glades advertising campaign.
