Competition rules
Entrants must be aged between 16 and 26 at the time of entering, and must live in the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Dartford, Gravesham, Greenwich or Lewisham. Any breach of these requirements will result in disqualification. Proof of age and address will be required.

Entry to the competition is via the form published on this page only. Entry forms submitted by third parties, such as friends and relatives, will not be allowed. If you are entering the contest you must fill in the entry form yourself.

All entrants will attend Nigel Barrett Photography for a photo session. Entrants aged under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. By submitting an entry form, you are giving permission for photographs taken by Nigel Barrett to be used on newsshopper.co.uk and in the News Shopper newspaper where appropriate. However, News Shopper reserves the right under certain circumstances not to put everyone who enters into the website stages of the contest.

Employees of Newsquest (London) Ltd and their families and anyone else connected with this competition are not eligible to enter.

Prizes are not transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

The editor’s decision is final.

Finalists will be expected to attend (and pay for their transport to) a model training day in Essex (date to be set). Finalists must also be available for the final, a catwalk fashion show, to be held at The Glades shopping centre in Bromley in October.
