WHAT an irresponsible front page (October 1). It would be madness to wipe out foxes but they certainly do need to be controlled.
On a trip from Orpington Hospital to Hayes late at night I saw 15 foxes on a car journey which only takes a few minutes and I do not doubt there were many more I did not see.
I have seen a fox kill two lambs and then attack the ewe. I have also seen the aftermath of a fox visit to a chicken run. These sights will become commonplace unless we restrict the fox population.
