Scarlett Johansson, Ryan to adopt?

Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson may be planning to adopt.

The 32-year-old Proposal actor - who married 24-year-old Scarlett in a very private ceremony in Canada last year - has told British Glamour magazine he would love to adopt a child.

Ryan said: "My oldest brother is adopted and I have every intention of adopting at some time; I'm very grateful for having my brother in my life - I couldn't be more pro-adoption."

He added: "There are plenty of kids in the world that need it."

But asked if she and Ryan would be starting a family Scarlett told the February issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I'm not pregnant nor will I be any time soon."
