Red Dwarf star Danny John-Jules spat at one council worker and kicked and punched another for not emptying his recycling bin, the Crown Prosecution Service has said.
The 47-year-old actor, who starred as Cat in the BBC sitcom, spat at refuse collector Jaroslaw Lisiecki and kicked and punched his son Jan when they refused to empty his recycling bin at his home in north-west London as it contained polystyrene.
John-Jules became irritated that the father-and-son team ignored his protests after they said they would not take the rubbish, the CPS said.
John-Jules was found guilty at Brent Magistrates' Court of two counts of battery and will be sentenced on November 13.
