Award-winning film Crash will soon be appearing on the small screen in a new US TV series starring British actor Ross McCall.
"Crash is based on the movie and follows five LA folks from very different walks of life and how in this day and age we tend to kind of ignore one and other. It's how all these lives collide," said Ross, who is engaged to Hollywood star Jennifer Love Hewitt.
"We've seen it and it looks amazing."
The 13 episode series will be shown on US cable channel Starz and also stars Dennis Hopper.
"There's no role from the movie that's come over for the show but if there were I'm kind of the Matt Dillon role," explains Ross.
"I'm like the LAPD guy who has kind of got his own issues with life. I've got to do the American accent, I've been doing it for a while and I get away with it. I've got to be careful as I'm losing my own accent - it's ridiculous."
