CONDITIONS were very windy for the latest event in the Gravesend Cycling Club evening 10 series.
Paul Buttery (Kent Cycles) showed his strength with a sub 22-minute ride of 21m59s despite the difficult conditions.
Riding for the first time this season, Anthony Bee (Kent Cycles) did well to record 23m04s.
Other times were: Graham Terry (San Fairy Ann) and Carol Gandy (Kent Cycles) 24m14s, Lee Willard (VC Elan) 25m14s, Graeme Moir (GCC) 25m22s, Graham Strugnell (Wigmore) 25m25s, Stan Franklin (Medway Velo) 26m03s, Keith Ward (GCC) 26m27s and P Daniel (Medway Velo) 27m04s.
Elsewhere, Gravesend CC's Mark Williams and Paul Hyde rode in the VTTA 10-mile event on the Thanet Way.
Conditions were difficult on the exposed course and they recorded respective times of 24m13s and 25m14s.
