GRAVESHAM'S annual schools and borough swimming championships were held at Cygnet Leisure Centre recently.
The event was hosted by Gravesham Community Leisure Limited (GCLL) under the auspices of Gravesend and Northfleet Swimming Club and attracted more than 150 competitors.
Medals and trophies presented by deputy mayor Bronwyn McGarrity and Councillor Bill Lambert.
There was again some outstanding performances from schools and individuals alike.
Numerous swimmers retained their crowns from last year, including Hannah Vigors in the borough Girls 14 and under 100m category.
Vigors was also the winner of the schools Year 7 to 9 25m race, while Rosalind Fuller took home the trophies again for the borough girls 16 and under 100m and the ladies' 200m.
