NORTH West Kent College in Dartford will play host to a sporting festival on Wednesday.
Students aged between 16 and 19 will be able to take part in a range of tournaments in five sports - football, basketball, netball, rugby and girls football.
This festival has been funded by the sports lottery awards for all fund, with the aim of extending and promoting participation in sport activities in further education colleges across Kent.

The Kent Colleges Sports Students Association (KCSSA) is working with various sports governing bodies and other organisations, such as the Kent Sports Development Unit, to overcome the barriers to participation at all levels both in urban and rural areas and particularly in FE colleges.
Wednesday's festival will provide a great opportunity for more than 1,000 young people and volunteers to meet and compete in sport in a safe and friendly environment.
It will target a number of FE colleges and sixth form colleges across Kent and south east London to promote the KCSSA league to new colleges and sixth forms for next season.
This event will also involve newly qualified sports coaches, officials and volunteers providing valuable experience in preparation for the London 2012 games.
