Club miss out in final
BLACKHEATH RFC under-17s completed their season with a Kent Cup Final appearance at Well Hall against Tunbridge Wells under-17s.
In a rematch of the Kent League Final earlier in the season, Blackheath had been hoping to complete the double over their opponents.
However, Tunbridge Wells ran out narrow 12-7 victors to claim the trophy, winning by two tries to one.
Club's try came from James Sellick and was converted by Danny Courtneidge.
Blackheath under-17s finished the season as Kent League champions 2007/08 and also represented the county in the national under-17s cup competition.
