Gravesend host Dutch this week-end

Gravesend Under 7s squad with their coaches
Gravesend Rugby Club’s mini and youth section are hosting The Pink Panthers from Driebergen, Ultrecht, Netherlands a Dutch touring side at the weekend, at under 12 and 14 age groups.
They have also arranged to have Blackheath U14's and Aylesford U12's taking part in matches against their Dutch visitors.
GRFC met them while on tour last year in Holland and formed a connection that has led to the visit to Gravesend this week-end.
On the same day the U16's are hosting Tonbridge Juddians in the Kent Cup and apart from the Under 15's who are playing away the whole mini and youth section will be at home showing the positive impact that the club has within the community, as there will be several hundred youngsters engaged in sport.
Last Sunday, the U7’s were outright winners of their age group at the very successful Medway Festival. Having won through the group stages and semi-finals, they went on to gain a hard fought success against the previously unbeaten Medway 1 side in the final, winning by 4 tries to 3.
In addition the U12's were runners up in their age group, the U11's were joint winners of the Plate at the festival after a 1-1 draw in the final, and the U9's were runners up in their Plate final.
