Blackheath teach Beckenham a rugby lesson

BLACKHEATH Women’s RFC continued their winning ways with a convincing 65-0 bonus point victory over rivals Beckenham at Rectory Field on Sunday.

Helena Train led the way for the home side, powering her way to an impressive four tries. There were also scores for Emily Longmore, Becky Watling, Rhiannon Evans, Elaine Jaxon (2), Frankie Newby and Steph Arnold, who scored on her first game back for Club after a season’s absence travelling.

Bec Carlton added five conversions to the tally.

Blackheath travel to Hampstead on Sunday for a top-of-the-table clash with newly-promoted Hampstead Ladies, who sit top of Championship South East Two with an extra bonus point.
