SHOOTERS Hill destroyed Foots Cray to retain second place in the table.

Dave Viney Jnr ran through unopposed within two minutes of the start for fly-half Gareth Cross to convert.

Skipper Glen Miller drove over from a lineout and Viney broke off a scrum to score, with Cross converted both.

The back line had looked convincing and good passing saw Edmar Vinluan put Mayo Soremekin away.

The final score of the half saw Mike Smith searing into the right hand corner.

In the second half, Shoots’ mauling and driving was used to good effect and the visitors never looked like crossing the line.

Pat Beale scored four times and replacement Dave Viney Snr scored from a graceful dive.
