VIGO RFC have commenced training for what looks like an exciting season ahead.

Having gained promotion to Kent One for the first time two years ago, and finishing a creditable sixth last season, Vigo are looking to kick on under new first team skipper Chris Judson.

Last year’s young side remain in tact, while new signings have put some pressure on the incumbents.

Old Dartfordians will be the first opponents in the league at Swanswood on September 12.

This season will also see Vigo welcome Beccehamians and Guys Hospital for the first time at senior level.

Training is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and all levels of ability are catered for.

Colin Luck has been appointed the new captain of the A XV and is also looking to consolidate after a difficult season last year.
