Kent Ravens 4-70 Greenwich Admirals

GREENWICH Admirals emerged as the emphatic victors of Saturday’s derby clash at Kent Ravens.

Kent were hit hard by a high number of absentees caused by work and holiday commitments and were struggling from the outset against their rivals at New Ash Green.

The experienced Admirals took control of the match from the start and ran in 10 tries in the first half.

Greenwich took their foot off the gas after the break but still managed to add four more tries to their tally in a 70-4 success, a result which sees them go top of the table.

Man of the match Ishmael dominated the game with three brilliant individual tries and it is surely only a matter of time before the Admirals lose him to the professional game.

Ben Johnson continued his fine form by scoring three sublime tries effortlessly.

Anthony Johnson, Louis Newton and Paul Clark, the heart and soul of the team, each scored two.

Sam Woods got another well-deserved try and Marchello Cultrera finally scored his first try finishing with assured excellence.
