Bromley RFC bounced back to winning ways at the weekend with a 34-10 home victory over Park House.

After last week’s disappointing result hopes were high for a Bromley return to form against near neighbours Park House.

Although Park House dominated the early exchanges, the hosts took the lead through a Patrick Moore penalty, before David Banfield rumbled over for a try.

After the interval Bromley extended their lead to 17-0 when James Powell found Lewis Carter, who touched down under the uprights.

Park House opened their account shortly after with a well-executed cross-field pass allowing them to score in the corner.

But the hosts responded swiftly, turning over a scrum which set George Scott over for a third try, and achieving the bonus point as player-coach Tom Standfield scored under the posts.

In one final flurry Lewis Carter picked up another well-taken try which Kieran Leeper converted, before Park House claimed seven consolation points.

The comfortable Bromley victory leaves the club in second position with a trip to Gillingham Anchorians up next.
