Orpington ran away with it in the second half of Saturday’s 52-5 triumph at Shooters Hill.
With their full team yet to muster, Shoots faced a beefed-up Orpington and held the visitors to 5-19 at half time with a well worked try in which Gareth Cross and Felix Louisy handled for scrum-half Harry Barham to touch down.
After the break the classy Orpington backs ran through for five tries and their prominent scorers were Luke Cooper and James Bridges.
This was despite some good marking and brave tackling by Shoots.
New skipper Shaun Tipple praised his team's efforts with good prospects for the later matches.
