Shooters Hill piled on the misery for Dartford Valley with a 27-10 victory in Kent Two on Saturday.

Dartford have won just once all season and to be fair to them they played some good rugby at the weekend, the best so far this season if their touchline supporters are to be believed.

An early try apiece had the two sides level at 5-5 and Dartford were really in it.

However, a good try by Pete Evans and Pete Deady conversion saw Shoots lead after 20 minutes.

With the game still quite tight, Shoots were awarded a penalty on the half hour which Deady slotted over for a 15-5 half-time interval advantage.

Shoots took the game to Dartford from the restart, their pressure rewarded within seven minutes by another converted try.

But Dartford were not giving up and with the help of their powerful No 8 and useful fly-half, manufactured a good try of their own to close the gap to 10-22.

Shoots were confident and professional enough to keep their discipline and go on to score another unconverted try.
