Westcombe Park remain top of the league after Saturday’s bonus point 30-20 home victory against East Grinstead.
The Orpington side’s backs had the advantage over their opponents, while East Grinstead dominated some but not all of the forward exchanges.
It was open running and good support play which set up Combe’s first try for Jordan Davies, with captain Hamish Barton adding a second in almost identical circumstances.
East Grinstead finished the first half the stronger as Scott Meakin slotted a penalty and added a conversion to Ash Halsey’s try from a scrum on the hosts’ line.
Combe ran the visitors ragged as Trent Nattrass took a scoring pass on the halfway line and extended the lead when Iain Gordon put over his second conversion.
East Grinstead hit back with another Meakin penalty and a penalty try, but otherwise Combe’s defence remained firm.
The home side made sure of the win in the last five minutes with a second penalty for Gordon and a Lee Covington try.
