Westcombe Park added to their trophy cabinet by lifting the Kent Plate on Sunday with a 32-24 win over Medway.
The opening score belonged to Medway, a converted penalty try which was soon pegged back by Combe with a try from Joe Birch in the corner following an initial break by Ben Hennah.
Another Combe try soon followed for full-back Christian Weald, but for the rest of the half their concentration went AWOL and a forward was lost to a yellow card.
Two more tries were conceded before the break, including a pushover from a five-metre scrum.
Combe were a changed side after the break, outscoring Medway by three tries to one. Their first owed much to an excellent run from Tom Gray, Mark Nimmo was up in support and touched down.
Two more tries followed for Billy Bignell and Christian Weald, who ran his in from 40 yards.
In the dying minutes Medway were given a second penalty try. Conditions for place kicking remained difficult all the afternoon but Combe’s Joe Simpson was successful with two conversions and a penalty.
Josh Penny kicked one conversion.
