Gravesend Dynamite visited Folkestone Spitfires for their first ever wheelchair rugby league competitive match and came away with a victory.
The Dynamite, part of Gravesend Rugby Club only formed in late September 2013 but have already a reputation in wheelchair rugby with two adult wheelchair 7's international players and a growing membership of enthusiastic participants, especially at under 18 level.
Gravesend Dynamite eventually came away from this under 18 fixture with a 20-4 win: tries coming from Max O (2), Cormac and captain Tom Mc (who added 2 conversions) but the game was played in a great spirit and it was a superb advert for junior wheelchair rugby league.
More games are already planned against Swindon St george, Medway Dragons and Folkestone Spitfires; Gravesend Dynamite will also be part of the first ever British under 18 league.
Team: Tom Mc, Cormac M, Ben S, Ben H, Max O, Patrick M, Millie M, William A
