SHOOTERS Hill brushed aside relegation rivals Foots Cray 41-5 in Kent One.

Winger Peter Deady slotted a penalty in the opening minutes and fly half Edmar Vinluan used territorial gains to slip in under the posts for Deady to kick the conversion.

Vinluan featured again chipping the ball ahead for Deady to rack up more individual points by making the touchdown.

The visitors enjoyed a brief foray into the Shoots 22 and scored an unconverted try, but a converted Deady try made it 22-5 at the break.

No 8 Dave Viney extended the advantage early in the second half before hooker Paul Stephen’s effort was converted by Deady.

Shoots’ scrum continued to drive the ball forward, with lock Glen Miller playing a great game.

Viney carried the ball on for winger Andre Baptist to run through the defence and Deady converted to take his personal tally to 16.

This weekend sees Shoots play Hastings & Bexhill at home.
