CRYSTAL Palace secured their Championship play-off place with an emphatic 5-0 victory over Burnley at Selhurst Park today.
Neil Warnock's side made a dream start to the crucial final league match of the season when Clarke Carlisle upended Scott Sinclair in the area after seven minutes.
The Burnley defender was red-carded and Ben Watson smashed home the penalty kick.
Palace doubled their lead two minutes later when Burnley failed to clear the danger from a corner.
Jose Fonte's header back into the area fell invitingly into the path of Victor Moses and the youngster smashed his shot past Brian Jensen from close range.
The outcome of the match was put beyond doubt eight minutes before the break when Tom Soares converted Morrison's pass across the six-yard-box.

A moment of magic from winger Sinclair provided Palace's fourth goal just after the hour.
Sinclair took up possession just inside Burnley's half before going on a run which took him past the Clarets' defence and into the box, where he slotted his shot beyond Jensen.
Morrison got on the end of Watson's through-ball on 65 minutes before firing a low shot from just inside the box to complete the rout.
Palace will now face Bristol City at home in the first leg of the play-offs on Saturday at 12.30pm.
