Julian Speroni was a rare bright performer for Palace on Friday
JULIAN Speroni echoed manager Neil Warnock's words after Friday's 2-0 defeat at The Valley by claiming the Eagles are more than capable of getting their promotion bid back on track.
The Argentinian stopper, who pulled off an amazing point blank save from Charlton's Zheng Zhi in the first half, explained: "We came from a 15 game unbeaten run, so just because you lose a game there is no reason to panic.
"We will have the same pressure every game from now until the end of the season.
"In the last two games against Leicester and Southampton, it looked like they had won the World Cup after drawing against us and that is saying something.
"There are a couple of things we need to sort out, but the manager was happy with the attitude of the team.
"We have another 16 games and so we need another unbeaten run and to think positive."

He added: "When you lose a local derby it is very disappointing, but you have to look forward to the next game and forget about it.
"The fans were unbelievable. The stand was full and I would like to thank all the people who came to Charlton."
