Crystal Palace are close to signing long-term target Mamadou Sakho in a £25m deal from Liverpool.
Sakho spent the second half of last season on loan at Selhurst Park, keeping four clean sheets in his eight games.
A serious knee injury ended his season in April, but it never stopped Palace from pursuing a permanent transfer for the France defender.
Sakho has not played for Liverpool in over a year after falling out with boss Jurgen Klopp last summer.

Eagles manager Frank de Boer said Sakho was too expensive after the Reds slapped a £30m price tag on the former Paris Saint-Germain man.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Liverpool have lowered their asking with both clubs agreeing on a £25m deal.
The saga is set to end with Palace finally landing their top transfer target.
