Crystal Palace target Mamadou Sakho has been left out of Liverpool’s 25-man squad for their pre-season tour to Hong Kong.
Sakho, 27, had been training with Liverpool after returning from a successful loan spell with the Eagles last term.
But Anfield chief Jurgen Klopp decided against taking the France defender to Hong Kong as the rest of the squad flew out on Sunday.

Klopp and Sakho fell out during Liverpool’s pre-season tour in America last summer. Subsequently, he did not play a single game for the Reds in the 2016/17 campaign and was shipped out on loan to Palace in January.
The defender was a revelation at Selhurst Park, and helped the Londoners avoid the drop.
The Eagles want to bring Sakho back to the club, but have been put off by Liverpool’s £30m asking price.
