Jack Wilshere is set to join Bournemouth on loan after Arsenal rejected an approach from Roma, reports say.
The England midfielder hopes regular football away from Arsenal will help revitalise his career after a tough couple of seasons.
Several domestic and foreign clubs were hoping to secure Wilshere’s services, with Crystal Palace, Watford and West Brom linked with moves.
Roma also make a deadline day push to bring Wilshere to Italy.
However, BBC journalist David Ornstein says the 24-year-old is now on the verge of joining Bournemouth on a season-long loan.
