Watford have signed Chelsea forward Kenedy on loan and former Crystal Palace defender Adrian Mariappa on a three-year deal.
Versatile Brazilian Kenedy has played 14 league games for Chelsea’s first-team since joining from Fluminense in June 2015.
Jamaica international Mariappa was released by the Eagles earlier in the summer after spending three seasons at Selhurst Park.
The 29-year-old started his career at Watford and played 216 games for the Hornets before signing for Reading in 2012.
Mariappa, who graduated through the academy system at Vicarage Road, is in line to feature against West Ham on September 10.
