Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is in talks with Crystal Palace over a summer move.
Despite seeing an opening £25m bid turned down last month, Palace remain determined to land the Belgian ahead of the new season.
The Reds are believed to be hoping to recoup the £32.5m they spent on Benteke last summer when they bought him from Aston Villa.
Benteke struggled to establish himself at Anfield, scoring nine goals in 29 league appearances for the club during the 2015/16 campaign.
However, the former Genk star, 25, had an impressive goalscoring record at Villa and will hope to revive his career in south London.
