Crystal Palace hope to beat a host of elite clubs to the signing of Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, reports say.
Sissoko has been tracked by the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus since the player’s productive Euro 2016 campaign with France.
Spanish giants Madrid are even believed to have begun formal talks with the 26-year-old over a move to La Liga.
However, according to French outlet Le10 Sport, Palace have also expressed an interest in Sissoko, who has played 118 league games for Newcastle.

The experienced France international looks set to leave St James’ Park this summer following relegation to the Championship, although his price tag is causing problems.
Palace are determined to bolster Alan Pardew’s squad before the start of the new season and Sissoko is a player the boss knows well from his days as Newcastle manager.
It is claimed that while a switch to south London may not be Sissoko’s first-choice option, he will not rule out a move to Selhurst Park.
Sissoko joined Newcastle in 2013 from Toulouse, where he spent the first six years of his professional career.
