Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is one of the top 100 most valuable players in Europe, according to a CIES Football Observatory study.

Nearly half of the players in the list belong to Premier League clubs, with Tottenham striker Harry Kane fifth with an estimated value of over €100 million.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi leads the pack with a value of €211.1m, but several surprising Premier League players also make the cut.

Eagles and England winger Zaha is the 87th most valuable player with a price of around £25m over his head.

Manchester United quartet David De Gea, Memphis Depay, Daley Blind and Chris Smalling all feature and Leicester goalscorer Jamie Vardy slots in at No.78.

Liverpool youngster Jordon Ibe, who only made his senior debut last March, is included at number 95 with a value of €30.3m.

The study was based on players in the English, French, German, Italian and Spanish top flights and took into account contract lengths and ages as well as ability.
